Abdul Kalam. Kalaimamani - State Government of Tamil Nadu "Kalaimamani" award from Tamilnadu Isai Nataka Mandram, Chennai in the year 2011. Other Titles and Awards "Surmani" by the Sur Singer Samsath, Mumbai. "Isai Chudar" by Lioness club of South Chennai. "Gana Kuyil" award from Canada Hindu Cultural Council, Canada in July 2005 where she gave concerts. "Professional Excellence award" from Rotary club of Chennai. Citation by the World Telugu Federation on 9th January 2009. "Padma Sadhana" award from Padma Sarangapani Trust, Chennai in 2010. "ASCENDAS Excellence Award for Women" in 2010 from Tamil Nadu Disability and "ASCENDAS". "Swarna Tarangani" award from Rajiv Gandhi National Institute for Youth Development (Under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Development, Government of India) in 2011. Three consecutive "Best Vocalist" awards from Indian Fine Arts Society, Chennai namely "Best Vocalist for Raga Alapana", "Best Vocalist for Sahitya Rendition", "Best Vocalist for Niraval". "Special Pallavi Singer" by Krishna Gana Sabha. "Best Teacher Award" by the Maragatham Chandrasekhar Trust in 2002 She is an Established Grade empanelled artist of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR); National Awards Selection Committee Member nominated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
